  • Framework

    LGS frame 30% from recycled steel and 100% recyclable at end of life.

  • Natural insulation

    Natural ROCKWOOL® insulation embedded in the frame. A1 non combustible.

  • Recycled insulation

    Crushed milk cartons recycled as an insulation layer outside ROCKWOOL® insulation. Class 1 BS 476.

  • Recycled Welsh slate waste

    Welsh slate waste recycled in robust internal wall panels. Manufactured in prison and rated A1 non combustible. See our video below testing their strength.

  • Underfloor heating

    We use underfloor heating to maximise internal living space and reduce energy bills.

  • Natural wall coverings

    Natural cork waste is used in the recycled wall coverings. Rated carbon negative.

Energy efficiency

  • One Planet Living

    We use the One Planet Living® framework to inspire us. One Planet Living is a vision of a world where we can live happily within the Earth’s resources. It’s a highly flexible framework that is helping organisations around the world achieve their vision of a brighter, better future.

  • Solar energy

    We use solar assisted air source heat pumps for hot water and heating along with underfloor heating requiring lower temperatues and delivering lower energy bills. The Pods have very airtight construction.

  • Low energy costs

    We have an EPC rating of A resulting in low energy costs and subsequently we are very environmentally friendly.
